What brought you to Humber and your program of study?

I wanted to upgrade my skills, so I did two post-grad diplomas: Special Event Management (Public Relations) and Marketing (Business). I also did the Creative Writing Summer Workshop and Program (Isabel Huggan), which helped me hone in on the style of writing I wanted to focus on —non-fiction.

What was your favourite Humber memory or experience?

Overall, all my experiences were good. Not one really stands out. I just remember loving going to classes and learning.

What was Humber's greatest impact on your personal and professional life?

It helped me advance in my career and I'm grateful for the decisions I made to invest in my future.

What are you up to now?

I'm an author ("Believe" and "A Life Touched by Miracles and Eulogy for a Superhero - A Journey of Forgiveness and Empowerment"), speaker, empowerment and wellness coach. My focus is helping women overcome fear and worry, so they may shine their light authentically, fearlessly, and unapologetically.

What else do you want to share (e.g. Memorable trip; If you had a superpower; Favourite food or coffee shop; Personal and professional interests; Awards and recognition; Other milestones)?

My superpower, aside from informed intuition, is adaptability and overcoming my trauma. Someone asked me recently what I'm most proud of and it's my story, which you can read in my latest book, "Eulogy for a Superhero - A Journey of Forgiveness and Empowerment" (Amazon).
