Participate in a series of informative and engaging tours, workshops and more in the Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation and across Humber’s North Campus. Visit the college's innovative state-of-the-art labs, learn from field experts and meet knowledgeable program and service representatives to receive giveaways, informational material and opportunities to win great prizes, including the new Vertuo Pop Nespresso Machine.

Toronto Argos vs. Ottawa Redblacks, October 14, 5 pm - 10 pm (SOLD OUT):
Enjoy Fan Appreciation Night, food and an on-field experience at the final regular season home game for the Argos as they take on the Ottawa Redblacks at BMO Field. Guests will gather pre-game in the King Club, a social space at BMO, for photo ops and special guest appearances.
Toronto Marlies vs. Utica Comets, October 15, 4 pm - 8 pm:
The 2023-24 AHL season is underway, and alumni are invited to welcome back the Marlies at Coca-Cola Coliseum vs. the Utica Comets. Guests will experience all the action from Platinum Seats and enjoy a post-game private skate on the Coliseum ice. Our Private Suite for this event is SOLD OUT.

Humber grads and the Humber community are invited to a Charity UFC Watch Party on Saturday, October 21, 10 am - 4 pm (Daytime Event) at Boston Pizza in Downtown Toronto
Enjoy this highly anticipated Pay-Per-View UFC bout between Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira on the Boston Pizza big screen with great people and good food! Guests will also catch the highly anticipated UFC grudge match between Paulo Costa and Khamzat Chimaev.
This event is exclusively for Humber College community members, friends of the Theodorou Foundation and special guests, including the popular Canadian MMA Analyst Robin Black. We'll also be joined by Humber Alumnus and TSN MMA Reporter Aaron Bronsteter - a two-time Fighters Only World MMA Awards nominee for MMA Journalist of the Year.
Theodorou Foundation is dedicated to impacting the fight against cancer and honours the legacy of Elias Theodorou, a talented Canadian Mixed Martial Artist, UFC competitor and Humber alumnus. Through fundraising efforts, research advancement, patient support, advocacy, and awareness, the Foundation continues Elias's compassion, determination, selflessness and commitment to giving and inspiring others.

Humber PRO: Building Your Personal Brand

Join us for a FREE virtual instructor–led workshop on October 26 at 1 pm offered exclusively to alumni.
This one-hour workshop on Building Your Personal Brand is offered by Humber Alumni and Humber Continuous Professional Learning and is facilitated by Andrea Tavchar, Professor in Humber's Bachelor of Public Relations program.
Andrea is an award-winning professor with 20+ years of proven success in teaching public relations skills - focusing on social media, strategic communication planning, communication theory, and writing. Andrea completed a PhD focused on Education and Social Media from the University of Toronto’s Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. In 2020, Andrea launched PR Delivered - a podcast connecting PR students and new grads with industry professionals through relevant themes. Andrea is also a regular speaker and guest lecturer on PR and social media in both Canada and Croatia.
The intentional creation of a strong personal brand has become an essential part of searching for a job and building a career. This workshop teaches you how to leverage your social media channels to create a strong personal brand in the current labour market. You will also gain key insights on how to mitigate common pitfalls in using social media for both personal and professional reasons. Related topics such as impression management and the power of networking in brand-building will also be discussed.
